Our Temp-Plate Insertion Panels are a direct replacement for the open tank heat exchangers supplied by McMaster-Carr. These flat-panel heat exchangers can be placed in open tanks to heat or cool their contents by transferring heat from liquid or steam that flows through passageways in the panel. Pipe connections are located above the fluid level, so the heat exchangers can be removed without emptying the tank.

We offer the Temp-Plate Insertion Panels in 316 stainless steel; this allows for a more corrosion resistant open tank heat exchanger. The panels in the table are all 316 stainless steel and are a direct replacement for any existing carbon steel panels you may have.
